Things are moving at light speed around here! Our leadership team started The Leadership Classroom program offered by the Community Foundation of Central New York. We’re learning and networking with other area community based organizations dedicated to transforming our community.
Our IRS determination letter arrived in September. We are officially recognized as a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization! Fund raising efforts are underway to give us freedom and flexibility in fulfilling our mission.
In the beginning of October we took part in the discussion around addressing the needs of families and individuals living with autism, and related disabilities, and mental illness. We’re building relationships in the community that shed greater light on this issue.
The leadership team is busy creating proposals for the programs that will help fulfill our mission to enrich the lives of people with developmental disabilities and youth in residential care. Don’t be shy about volunteering to help!
